Comments: Started strong, hit a rough patch cresting last hill before the first downhill. Was passed by Paddy at water station around mile two though he started well behind me. Eased up ever so slightly at start of loop around lake so that I could finish well. What would you do differently?: Chest strap fell down around my stomach at the one mile mark. Avoidable. Wore shoes right out of the box. They were fine, but the tongues slid in a weird way. Post race
Warm down: I vomited about a cup of runny, snotty, orange bile within 10 yards of the finish line. It was a command performance. What limited your ability to perform faster: I was a little sore from hills last Saturday and stairs on Wednesday. Mostly, I've not been running enough. Last updated: 2012-11-07 12:00 AM
