Hey Switch, this is why I need a chin/pull up bar! I'm getting the chin/pull up bar and I'm buying silks material I can put over it so I can hang from it and pull myself up. My hands need to be vertical vs. horizontal for the pull. I would say the stretch is good. It's as good as you make it. If you don't stretch out a lot in the poses then you won't get one. Otherwise it is a lot of fun and to advance you need a lot upper body strength and the ability to pull yourself up. Which I'm unable to do... for now. But I'm working on it! |

Ohhhhh! That makes sense! Do you have a door frame that's tall enough to do a bar and hang silks on? The upperbody strength will totally come. I think it's equal parts, strength, technique, and belief :) Btw, you look VERY strong--and beautiful. Super, super cool. |

The door is high enough that if I reach to the top of the silks by the bar, I will be off the ground. Honestly, I can just pick up my feet in a crunch (or straight legged) if I need to get my feet off the ground. I can also wrap the silks around both arms at shoulder level and pull down and lift my legs for a workout as well. I won't be able to climb or do poses. Yes, strength, technique, and I would say confidence! Ha! Thanks for the kind words! ![]() |
