Three Sisters was actually dry a few weeks ago, but I feel like that may not always be the norm. I've been riding the lower trails at Elk Meadow, but anything up in the trees is snowy/icy right now. |

Master 4101 Denver | Subject: RE: MTB trails It doesn't take much moisture to make Green Mtn a sticky mess but Bear Creek is probably ok. My guess is that you'll probably hit some snow & ice in the shady /north facing spots on some of the foothill trails (LOTB, Waterton/CO Trail/Indian Creek, Mt Falcon, Apex, etc.) but they'd probably be ridable. I haven't been out on them though so I couldn't say for sure. I've heard of some Highlands Ranch trails too, but I haven't ridden them and I've heard they're supposed to be residents only. But I'd bet they're dried out too. I'd guess the Rt 93 trails up by Boulder and Rabbit Mtn are clear as well. |

Most of the Highlands Ranch backcountry trails are resident only, though I've never been stopped out there. Right now they are a snowy, muddy mess. The trails are not technical but there is a lot of up and down and they are a ton of fun to ride, especially when I can be on them in a half mile from my door. |

Veteran 165 Parker, CO | Subject: RE: MTB trails Hey Todd, check out the ridgeline trail in Castle Rock. It's all single track with not much shade so the trails dry up pretty quick. It's got a lot of switch backs and interconnecting trails. With some good steep climbs that aren't too long.
