Subject: Any idea why training logs on BT don't have power from a Garmin 800

Been uploading my bike files (along with all the others) and the power doesn't show - yet there are fields for it, so I would think it should...

Any idea what I might be doing wrong?  Pretty sure it's operator error.  Embarassed

Thanks.

Matt

What power meter are you using?

You might want to try the upload instructions outlined here

I have a Quarg and use the Edge 800 to capture.  I've followed the instructions and can upload most data from the 800 and everything from the 910xt (run and swim - haven't tried that for the bike), so that's not the issue.  The only problem is that there is no power data.  I can get that on Strava and Garmin Connect (prolly TP, but have to check - usually use the others for power metering).

Further thoughts?

Thanks!!

Have you set your FTP in the training log settings?  Settings -> Training Log Settings -> Log Defaults and then Functional Threshold Power.

ETA: this is on BT, not on your 800

I like the BT logs - but you're not missing anything by not having your power upload.  You can not do anything useful with the power data on BT.
