Rise and Shine

It's probably been posted, but it's never old.

I love the Muhammad Ali footage. Gonna queue this up for my wake up in the morning.

The alarm clock is spot on. I HATE the alarm clock

But I love that it talks about the truth... our only true oponent is ourselves. And through competition, we can raise each other higher. We get stronger together.

What the heck is that guy doing at around 1:10-1:15???  He is going to kill himself with that nonsense.

Same thing, but I also think there are some other angles later, and the grade is not as steep as it looks in the first shot... but "holy crap" was my first though too. Awesome stuff.

I'm an afternoon worker outer...  But I may have to try the morning thing again.

Yeah, I'm assuming you guys are talking about the guy running down the ridge.  Nuts.  I sort of wish they continued with the clip as it seemed he was losing it.  I would have like to see the recovery.

I hadn't seen this one before. It's bookmarked now!

I hit the snooze button twice this morning. I hate day shift. Very little wind right now, but 35ish steady with 50mph gusts predicted for when I get out of work and need to do a 6-mile run. I should have woken up an hour earlier and run this morning! Oh well, the wind is a training partner, right?

I don't really go in for this stuff but there was a great quote in there that I recognise from when I start to doubt myself

"is that all you've got?  are you sure?"

Until I answer 'yes' to that question, I ain't stopping.
