Age Group Rank = 0/
Pre-race routine:

Generally being nervous, waiting for my dad to be ready so that we could go and set up. Set up bin for cleaning my feet, set out gatorades and water bottles, power gels. My bike was too crowded.
Event warmup:

Stetching, trying not to freak out. :-)
Swim
  • 18m 10s
  • 1000 meters
  • 01m 49s / 100 meters
Comments:

nice swim, nice water
What would you do differently?:

Need to practice lake swimming
Transition 1
  • 04m 41s
What would you do differently?:

calm down, drink more water
Bike
  • 1h 29m
  • 21.8 miles
  • 14.70 mile/hr
Comments:

that was long
What would you do differently?:

drink more
Transition 2
  • 01m 29s
Comments:

Legs seem more fatigued from biking
What would you do differently?:

I need to take that transition slower, especially if I've pushed too hard on the bike, my legs felt awful starting the run.
Run
  • 32m 33s
  • 3 miles
  • 10m 51s  min/mile
Comments:

Ouch
What would you do differently?:

Run more, do brick between biking and running much more, so I'm prepared for a physical challenge like that. The swim seemed to have almost no effect on me, physically, I took it carefully enough and I swim at least twice that distance regularly. Biking to running and actually running were the hardest parts of the race.
Post race
Warm down:

Lots of walking and liquids, some stretching after I walked, I didn't sit down until my dad came in a 1/2 hour later because usually if I do that my legs tense up more and I get more sore. after about 20 min, I got some food.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

my lack of training from bike to run, and probably not running enough.

Event comments:

It was fun for a first!
