Subject: Stupid pop-ups
On thread titles, the teaser popup. When in a thread, the popup when your mouse goes over the person's avatar. At the top of the page, the popup from the Forums button.

Can we get some sort of waiting period for that damned popup, please? Or have it go away after a couple seconds, please?

My mouse incidentally moves over a thread title, BBBBBOOOIIINNNGGG here's the two line teaser. Well hell, now I can't get at the thread title to click on it and I cannot read the titles above or below it. Wait, it'll go away. Nope. scroll up and down and it's still there. riggin' friggin'...

same thing inside the threads, Have to get something else to popup so I can read what was under the avatar popup.

Some sort of delay and/or timed extinction, please!

Thanks
DanH

I agree that this needs some work.  A short delay before the popups appear and some way to kill them when they do.  Whether it's pressing ESC or simply clicking somewhere else on the page.

Please just get rid of them, or at the very least have an option to disable them. Please.

THANK YOU!

Haven't tried anything else but just taking the mouse away from whatever caused the popup and wait a couple seconds and it goes away.

In all honesty if you did nothing else with it, this works just fine

Thanks again
DanH

This has been updated:

Desktop full version of site - you must click on avatar or username for popups for more links.  Thread title and last reply is on a delay for appearing.

Mobile browsers - username and avatar popup on click, no thread title or last reply popup.

Thanks Ron - I noticed the links were broken a little earlier this morning on a mobile browser - I had hoped that meant this was on the way to being fixed. Super!

Clear your cache on your mobile browser and try again.  I just reverified on android and safari.  If something is broke, let me know exactly what popup, from where, what link(s) and what browser.

I recently just ran a 5 mile race, and in the last 100 meters I was sprinting to pass someone and I felt a "pop" in my left arch. Could I have strained it? What is your advice for healing?

Near the end of one of my long runs, I noticed my left hip aching. There was a slight pop with each step. The hip was sore for 2 days after the run.

The goal is to get stronger while your swim, bike and run training schedule is relatively light and you can afford to hit the weights hard a couple times each week.
