It sure does make it hard to trust people in positions of authority.  Man, as a parent, if I found out someone had "sold" my kid... well, uh, they better hope they'd be in prison.

Actually, prison is perfect for this punk.  He'll get what's coming to him. That is, if he doesn't buy-off the guards.

Seriously, what happens to a person that makes them able to live with themselves while doing this?  It really doesn't get much more effed up.

ETA: The pic of him coming out of the courthouse is pretty telling too--no remorse.  I wish I had a heavy bag at my house.

There are no checks on judges?

I want to say I have seen a case like this before... it was investigated by some TV show 60min, 20/20... and somehow his wife was involved... if not him some other judge that had a clear conflict of interest sending kids to juvie that he or his wife had a financial interest in. It was some time ago... what ever, if it is him, Thank Goodness he has been convicted. What a flippin's dirt bag.

Completely destroying someone's future for a few bucks. The most impressionable of all out population. Sick... I really hope he get's some prison justice tacked on
