Total Time = 1h 08m 9s
Overall Rank = 60/279
Age Group = M30-34
Age Group Rank = 13/25
Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 3:30 because it was an hour drive to the race.
Event warmup:

light jogging/stretching
Swim
  • 06m 39s
  • 383 yards
  • 01m 44s / 100 yards
Comments:

My swim went terrific. Other than being hit more than I've ever been hit on the legs/ankles and stuff. But that only deterred me once.
Transition 1
  • 02m 21s
Comments:

I forgot to change my gearing down to the easiest, so I had a little bit of a difficult time getting up to speed. Live and learn! Also, the run in to T1 was very rocky. Small little rocks were hurting the feet.
Bike
  • 33m 16s
  • 11 miles
  • 19.67 mile/hr
Transition 2
  • 00m 55s
Comments:

Had a difficult time racking. I'm not used to racking by the saddle and this is what everyone was doing, so I followed suit.
Run
  • 24m 57s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 07m 52s  min/mile
Comments:

Run was terrible, but that was to be expected. I have hardly trained in the last 6 weeks because of a new baby at home. My calves were cramping real bad the first 1.5 miles so I didn't push it. I just stayed at an easy pace for the rest of run.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Newborn baby and hardly training
