MY race is this Sunday & I'm only now thinking about this. I confess, I probably spent more time on my roadie than TT bike this year than I should have.

For an olympic, what would you say is more "aero": A profile aero bottle between the aerobars or one/two standard water bottle cages on the frame? If it's the former, I will remove the frame water cages. FWIW, I ride a Trek TTX.

Yeah I know, it's a real beginner's questions. Thanks for your thoughts.

Take one of those cages and zip tie them horizontally between the aero extension bars.

At this point, go with whichever is easier for you to manage.

At this point, I'd suggest running whichever will allow you to hydrate easiest.

I wouldn't run more than one bottle on the frame if you go that route though... unless you need a ton of water.

A Torpedo mount would be best, but I wouldn't change to that if you aren't used to it this close to the race.

When first going aero, your shop should begin by putting you in the least aggressive position. This means the aerobar pads will be almost level or just below the saddle.

When people think of hydration in the aero position, the first name that comes to mind is the Aerodrink from Profile Design. I was expecting a pretty quick and breezy review of this water bottle.
