I meet up with Kevin on the way back from the turn around.... Knowing how fast my buddy Kevin is on the run I kept looking over my shoulder for him... but still keeping an eye on Ken who is so close but yet so far away in front of me!!! Ken might as well been 20 miles in front of me because my legs just wouldn't go any faster

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Course: My feeling is that this is a tough course mainly due largely impart to the hills that go on forever, potential for wind, hill to hill momentum doesn't play a large roll, turn around point is at the bottom of a hill, tight corners @ the start, course @ the start is a mixture of shade & sun which can cause wrecks

Nice job, Eric.  Next year I hope this race is a different day than Lincoln's state games tri.  Sounds like high praise to say your race director/team really cares about the sport!

Interesting comments about the potential for wrecks on the bike course.

Awesome job!!!  You must be proud

A swim coach is money REALLY well spent.  Also consider buying "Workouts In A Binder, Swim Workouts for Triathlets" by Gale Bernhardt and Nick Hansen.  It has great workouts for endurance, force and speed.
