Swim
Comments: Couldnt' seem to get myself together for most of the swim. Water was calm but I was not so missed several breaths. What would you do differently?: Calm down and try to ease into my pace better Transition 1
Comments: Mt bike so did it in running shoes, no clip in. T1 went pretty well for me, I was methodical and calm, it was a long run from water to T1. What would you do differently?: hurry Bike
Comments: Mt bike course so speed was all over the map. It sure felt like a lot of uphill to me but a good challenging course What would you do differently?: train more Transition 2
Comments: course ended with single track so had to follow people in, it went fine. Rode w running shoes so racked bike, helmet off, time to run! What would you do differently?: not much Run
Comments: this was tough! After really having to ride hard just to get through the course, the run was going to be painful. I tried to slow down and relax but ended up having to walk some of this. What would you do differently?: slow down a little more so I could keep running Post race
Warm down: walk around and drink water and FRS What limited your ability to perform faster: NO training in the last 2 weeks due to work hours Event comments: This was a great race! I've never done a Mt bike tri before and it was really tough going especially on the run. The only thing I dind't care for was that I had bought a lunch ticket and there was no drink included, no water or soda or anything included and I thought that was a bit cheesy. Otherwise, a great time and I have this race on my calendar for next year already. Last updated: 2013-08-25 12:00 AM
