St. Peters, Missouri
United States
St. Peters Rec-Plex Natatorium Foundation
Total Time = 2h 03m 3s
Overall Rank = 68/208
Age Group = M-45 49
Age Group Rank = 9/19
Pre-race routine:

Usual - smoothie & coffee.
Swim
  • 08m 39s
  • 500 meters
  • 01m 44s / 100 meters
Comments:

Decent swim - lost some time due to crowding in lanes.
Transition 1
  • 00m
Comments:

Transition times are folded into the bike time. I wear five fingers with socks on runs less than 1 hour. It takes a while to get toe socks on wet feet. That's all I'm going to say about that. However, I'm never fast during transitions...
Bike
  • 1h 17m 31s
  • 21 miles
  • 16.25 mile/hr
Comments:

Transition times are folded into the bike times - so, I'm not positive of my exact time. Beautiful morning... nice bike - it's pretty flat and just a bit of wind...
Transition 2
  • 00m
Run
  • 36m 52s
  • 5 miles
  • 07m 22s  min/mile
Comments:

Again - perfect weather... nice run.
Post race
Warm down:

Grabbed a breakfast burrito and a shower... headed home.

Fall's also the time to shop! In fact, now's the best time to retool some of your triathlon equipment for next year, right before the Christmas season begins to jack prices upward.
