So.......now that the House has unanimously passed a bill that will pay all furloughed federal employees back pay, whether they are working or staying at home during the "shutdown", with the Senate sure to follow.....can anyone give me a good reason why there is a "shutdown"?

This crap is like a comedy play.

I have a colleague from Brazil that started working with me a few weeks ago.  It is fascinating, and embarrassing, seeing this all through his eyes.

And yet on the "perceived corruption" indfex on the other thread the U.S. is ranked 50 places ahead of Brazil.  I'm thinking I don't give a rats arse what someone from Brazil thinks. Laughing
