Subject: RE: Another name speaks out against Lances' victory #6 You all have a great point. I was speaking more of politics, not of individuals or cultures. They are worlds apart. By the way, last post on this, but we here in the US are not feeling much love from the French lately. In fact, we're feeling like we're being undermined and misled. I know this is not a political forum, but I did let my political views leak into my over-reaction to the Lance article.
I've been to France and absolutely loved the country, I never ran into anyone that wasn't pleasant and mannerly, so this is nothing personal and I should have toned down the rhetoric.
I just dispise the absolute lack of respect that they pay in their media and politics to the USA and our most notable representative, Mr. Armstrong. I have not heard much positive support from the EU for Lance. Most if it is this continual character assassination around drugs and doping. It is just rediculous.
I do, however, promise to choose my words more carefully next time.
