Subject: Looking for a wetsuit
Hey all -

I am looking for my first triathlon wetsuit and hopefully someone has an extra or old one that they aren't using anymore. Doesn't need to be anything fancy, I am definitely looking for a good price over high quality.

I am 6'0" and about 155 lbs. If there are any other measurements that people use to fit wetsuits, let me know and I will provide those as well.

Thanks everyone!

Cory

Be aware that certain physique's will require you to add pounds to your weight to compensate for dimensions (if they don't offer a chest measurement). Based on my stats, 5-10 150ish I fit into a SM but based on my build I really should have bought a MD so now I have a SM that's just a bit too tight in the upper body.

Just a bit of advice I can offer when looking for a suit online.

I am 5'11" and was 150 last season. I fit well into an Xterra vortex 4 Small Long (SLO). You can check out this fit guide to see if you think it'll work for you: http://www.xterrawetsuits.com/uploads/size-chart-2012.pdf
I didn't trim the sleeves or ankles, but considered it to make taking it off easier.
I wore it for 2 races: HIM and IM and 5 practices. There are no fingernail scratches or holes, and only very slight creases from storage (definitely not cracked). I always rinsed the lake water out after every use. (My very kind wife rinsed it out after both races while I was passed out on the couch.)

I bought it new from Xterra April 2013 for $160. I will sell it for $100+shipping.

I have pedals with the cage and when I ride 2+ hours my legs feel much more tired then if I took out my husband's bike with clipless pedals. Do clipless pedals truly make the difference?

I'm doing my first tri Saturday. It starts at 7 AM and the forecast is calling for a high of 82 (air temp). Do I need to rush out and get a wetsuit?

This is a 'first impressions' review of the Fit2Race Sockeye Fullsuit. From a first wetsuit point-of-view, I was able to dramatically improve my pace over non-wetsuit swims.

I started riding this spring with the Carnac shoes on Look pedals (with plenty of float). About five minutes into a ride I get sharp pain on the outer edge of my feet, just behind the pedal.
