Comments: Started off well and was feeling pretty strong. Came through the first mile in 5:50 so I was right on pace. By mile two I was starting to feel the effects of no speed work but still came through at 11:50. Even though I was tiring, I thought I would have enough left to maintain the 6/mile pace but shortly thereafter I really started to cramp up. My back and stomach where so tight, that I could barely breath. The only other time this has happened was on a Thursday night Tri so I think it has to do with working all day beforehand. Anyway, lots of people passed me over the last 1/2 mile and I came in pretty slow. What would you do differently?: Nothing really...this race was just for fun and a good speed workout. Post race
