I've got a nice 10 speed setup. When I bought my wheels, they're 11 speed. No problem, leave the spacer in and run a 10 speed cassette on it.

But I know me and it's going to bug me until I end up with the cassette the wheel is made for, so what do I actually NEED to switch it over

Right shifter
Rear derailleur
Cassette
Chain

those are the minimum things I can see offhand. Is the front derailleur that much of a change? I've got a Power2Max on a SRAM S950 crank so if I need to change out my chainrings I'm thinking I'm not even going to bother starting.

The difference between 10 and 11 speed Shimano chains is outer width. They both have the same inner width. To convert a 10 speed to 11 speed drivetrain you will need as a minimum of:

1.) 11 speed brifter
2.) 11 speed chain
3.) 11 speed cassette.

Both derailleurs and chain rings are compatible.
Front shifting may not be as smooth since the chain has to move farther off one ring before engaging with the other one when using a 10 speed chain ring. It should be easier to tune the front derailleur since the narrower 11 speed chain provides more clearance.

I'm curious about the 'don't increase your run by more than 10% per week' rule. Is there a minimum mileage under which this doesn't apply?

How should I go about training for the marathon while also building base in the other two events? Doing this seems like it's causing me to break the 10% rule in running.

Yes, the Dual is a little heavier than Cervèlo’s high end counterparts. But…the price is within reach of the masses and it still incorporates all of the design features that make a Cervèlo special.
