A few strokes in the lake
Swim
  • 11m 8s
  • 400 yards
  • 02m 47s / 100 yards
Comments:

URGH the swim. Week 2 had a lot more women than week 1 which meant lots of contact. I was fine for the first 100 yards then we rounded the bouy and WHAM some girl smacked into me. Whatever. I went sans wetsuit and lost about 30 seconds over last week. I made that time up in t1 but it was a frustrating swim.
What would you do differently?:

more OWS practice sans wetsuit.
Transition 1
  • 01m 2s
Bike
  • 26m 42s
  • 4.85 miles
  • 10.90 mile/hr
Comments:

Gotta find 2 more minutes to shave off so I can beat the #1 in my ag ;)
Transition 2
  • 00m 59s
Run
  • 30m 6s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 09m 43s  min/mile
Comments:

Shaved roughly a minute off last week's time. I got out on the run and actually felt pretty good (relative to me and any run).
What would you do differently?:

Just keep doing it.

Event comments:

This is #2 out of 10 in the series. Guess I have to keep going if I want to hang on to 3rd in my AG!

I own both a road bike and a tri bike. I am wondering which bike I should be riding during off season training, or does it matter?
