Comments: Overall good performance. I need to work on better sighting and a better catch in the wet suit. I was pulling to the right, a lot! My roll in the wet suit was limited...need to work on that! What would you do differently?: Practice more OWS! Transition 1
Comments: A very long transition. I didnt run too hard because of calf issues What would you do differently?: Don't lose goggles! Bike
Comments: Bike hard! I don't think I could have giving it anymore. Fast course. The distance is likely short, but my garmin cut out so I don't know What would you do differently?: Not much Transition 2
Comments: Wasted time trying to put on compression socks. They ended up tearing, so I scrapped the socks. What would you do differently?: Remember to have my hat in transition. Run
Comments: Walked/jogged most of the course because of calf problems. My running volume was essentially 0 for the last 6 weeks because of calf injury. Calf flared up during the run. Stopped to stretch and message it a couple times. Post race

Left my house at 3AM (arrrgh). Ate a peanut butter sandwhich and started drinking a mix of carborocket, salt tabs, and hornet juice. Arrived at transition at 4 AM in pouring rain! Got transition set up and hide from the rain. Rain cleared at about 5:30. Scouted the transition area and swim in/out.
