Subject: 20 minute bike test for FTP
Does anyone know of a 6 to 7 mile, relatively flat roadway with few traffic lights in or around NYC to do a FTP test on the bike? Central Park would be OK in the early, early AM before the tourists are out and the cops are giving tickets, but it really isn't flat enought for and ideal FTP test.
Thanks for any suggestions.

you can check out cross island parkway , theres a bike/jog path that is flat as a pancake. Its a little less than 5k each way i think

I need an 8-9 mile flat route for a 20-minute all-out test. Any ideas?

I think you should check out Bike Trainer Avenue or Rollers Street. This ain't Kansas.

Maybe this response is too late, but if you are still looking, check out Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, there is a 2.2 mile pancake flat loop, 3 laps and you are good to go.
