PINK = Run, bike or swim data (with or without strength or sports)

PEACH/LIGHT RED = Strength/Sports data (No tri-sports logged)

BLUE = No Logged workouts, ONLY health data.

YELLOW = Only logged 'Overall Comments'

GREEN = Race Day

RED = Injured/Sick.  Will have a red border around date.

I just noticed the change today.  Hmmm...don't think I like it.  I think tri-sports should trump strength on the color code...right now when I look at my log I see a lot of the dark orange squares which is good because I know I've been strength (and sports??) training, but I can't see the IMPORTANT thing...have I been TRI training?

FWIW, I don't like that red trumps other colors too.  I have a standing injury that affects my training but if I logged it every day the only color I would see is RED.  Yet, it's been an injury affecting my training all year (and the past few years too but we won't go there).  Make sense?

Hey....maybe you could put a feature in there that allows us to decide our OWN square color priority?

We have been tweaking the colors last few days as on the bigger LCD screens, some of the lighter colors wash-out to white, we will have trisports trump strength...since this is a tri-site and all...will let you know when updated.

I know this would require more coding, but how about ...

If you log an injury, instead of it coloring the whole square, it just puts a yellow/white/red/some color dot in the corner of whatever color square you'd otherwise get?  That way, if you're training through an injury, you still get the pink of training, but also get the footnote of "hey, wasn't quite healthy when I did this workout".

I've been getting pretty consistent feedback that people don't like the injury color being prioritized above all others. How about a red border around the day?

The border idea sounds good.  Maybe that could be used for the other stuff too.  Tri-color in the middle strength on the border...Just a thought.

Here's my idea.

Pink / Blue / Peach / Yellow / Green = Full square color if only thing logged.

Red = Changes border if logged

Pink / Peach = Divide square diagonally, upper left is pink, bottom right is peach ( is there enough contrast between these? )

If you're sick, raced, logged tri workouts, strength training, health data all in one day, well, then you need help.

Seriously though, I think dividing the squares diagonally would allow strength/tri training to be reflected in a way that isn't too complicated, and is easily viewable at a glance.

Ok, we're looking into how to 'border' of 'flag' the minicalendar days to be more specific per workout and sick days.  If we can even do it.  I hope so.

We have applied the 'red border' for all sick days.  Although it will be 'grey' for the current day only no matter what is logged.
