Comments:

Just couldn't hold it together during the 4th mile. Breathing shallow but HR wasn't through the roof. So walked for a bit. But then I got my second wind and was able to finish strong.

Warm down:

Jogged to say hi to Terry on the course and then found Kirsten and ran with her until the last .4 miles.

Improving speed in swimming is more than just doing a few sprints at the beginning and end of your workouts. It takes a little more thinking, but I promise there is no high level math involved!

Running does not cause injury. Poor running form does. Running is more enjoyable, and safer if you know what you’re doing. And yes, even old dogs can learn new tricks.
