I bought my first one (The Rookie), this week!

I'm probably going to get another one, tonight. Butt-kickers!

I won a water bottle from TrainerRoad last year, and promptly left it at the pool a week later.  :-/

That's one of my favorites.

The JCC where I train is a licensed facility for Sufferfest. They do a two hour session three days a week. It's a new program for them, just a couple of months. Its really nice to be able to do these with a group so the Tour sounds like something I need to do.

I like The Rookie as well but there new one, The Best Thing In The World I like better. The two I like the least are Nine Hammers and Revolver. Those are the toughest for me.

Since these are new for me, what kind of a challenge do you envision other than to just finish?

Doing individual sufferfest videos arent too bad its the cumulative fatigue that really piles up when doing the Tour of Sufferlandria. By the end I simply want to finish while staying at 100% and matching the prescribed intervals and Watts. Sounds simple but it wasnt. I did complete it in the way I wanted but I suffered quite badly with either muscle fatigue or an electrolyte issue for 2 weeks after - I had really bad cramping in my legs and multiple trips to the massage therapist.

I am trying to prepare a little better this year and am currently working through TrainerRoads High Volume Sweet Spot base plan that puts me on the bike 8 hour per week,

Looks like The Sufferfest will use their own app and not Trainerroad this year...

I didn't do the tour last year but did 2 or 3 before that, all on TR. I didn't see any issues with it but that's probably because the two were practically synonymous for me; if I was riding a Sufferfest video I was going to do it on TR. Crazy that they are launching their app/program now though and the tour is in a month, not a lot of time to sort out the bugs. Might be interesting.

HUGE Sufferfest fan, been doing them before I got Trainerroad. Did the last two TdS's on TR. That said, I've got enough apps, etc to deal with and I don't feel like monkeying with one more so I guess I'm out. Oh well.

"Fandom" in triathlon compared to other sports. If you're a sports fan and simply love to follow sport, why pick a sport that may offer a view of the start, the finish and a few moments in between?

Don’t forget this is an incredibly big year for sport with the Olympics back in Athens where the modern Olympics started, and especially triathlon to make its second appearance.
