I ran an easy mile today and was quite happy about it. First time I've run since a fall about a month ago in which I broke at least one rib and cracked a couple of others (in my mid right back area ). Not a particularly fun month, but I've tried to learn from the experience. No, I don't recommend anyone go out and mess up their ribs just for the experience So last week I was able to start working on a stationary bike a bit, and now I know I can start to build back the run. I'm afraid the swim might still be a ways off as I really messed up my right lat muscles as well and don't think I'm ready to try to "pull" in the pool. But I can do stationary bike and run again! |
