Subject: Trainerroad and freemotion 11.9s spin bike
Hello all,

I am thinking about subscribing to trainerroad. My question is is it compatible with a freemotion 11.9s spin bike? This is what my gym has. The bike has the power/rpm console, with the ant+ logo. Would I just connect the bike to my iPhone and then magic would happen and the app would tell me to adjust resistance, register everything etc? Do I need anything special or Bluetooth is enough?

Just trying to figure out if it's worth it and if it would work at all

Looking at teh TR website, it says:

"As long as your power meter can communicate with TrainerRoad via Bluetooth Smart or ANT+, you’ll be able to use it for structured power-based workouts."

That being said, I would check with TR support. They are pretty good at answering questions quickly.

That ANT+ logo could also mean that it receives ANT+ signals like from your heart rate monitor, versus sending them.  I'd look to the freemotion web site for that info.
