Pre-race routine:

This was a timed indoor tri. 20 minutes each discipline. These are the distances I managed as there was no other way to do this. This was my hubbys first ever tri

swim as far as you can in 20 minutes. Shared a lane with D backstroking. He hit me a few times
Transition 1
  • 00m
Comments:

No transitions. THey just waited for everyone to be ready for the next section
What would you do differently?:

They had said they didn't want "wet things" on the bike. I swam with a sportsbra under my swim suit to avoid that mess, put on a short and tri shorts
Bike

  • 18.66 mile/hr
Comments:

On a spin bike, ride as hard as you can for 20 minutes. No idea how accurate the distance is.
Transition 2
  • 00m
Comments:

No tranisitons, walk to gym and put my brace on
Run
  • 20m
  • 1.54 miles
  • 12m 59s  min/mile
Comments:

run as far and fast as you can in 20 minutes. I think I did 20 laps. People were supposed to be counting for us but my lady was not really paying attention. My HR maxed out a 201 so I guess I was going pretty hard :)
Post race
Warm down:

Volunteered counting swim laps. took a shower then cheered on my friends running in the gym.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

No run base, but I was FIRST in my AG for the FIRST time, no doubt due to swim weighted race (About fuking time) David came in third!!! So proud of him in his first race!!!!

Event comments:

decent small race. Never have done and indoor race. Hardware baby!!
