Bodyglide is cheap and lasts a long time.  I doubt there is any piece of clothing out there that's gonna be more economical or work better.

Or get another pair of tri shorts.

Also, you can buy spandex running shorts/tights. Under Armor makes some as well as other brands. One pair of running shorts, one pair of tri shorts. Problem solved. Sometimes Body Glide doesn't fix the problem because if you're on a long run you need to carry it with you to reapply. I suggest getting a pair of spandex or compression running shorts.

Spandex is your friend.

Spandex with a long inseam. At least for me, I need a long inseam. My thighs touch all the way down to my knees, so "real" running shorts are just a torture device.

I try not to wear out my tri-shorts, so I buy a pair of "compression shorts" from my Local Sports Store (LSS???) I try to avoid spandex though...way too tight around the privates, in my opinion...cotton/rayon/polyester compression shorts do the trick.

Under Armour boxer briefs. Get the shorter length ones, they work well. Other than that....duct tape your inner things.

Another vote for Under Armour's spandex tights- I've got 2 pairs that I rotate through. Check out Sports Authority to find them.

I found these at a local Adidas outlet store for $15-$20 each. They are your normal baggy running short on the outside, but instead of having the normal brief, they have a compression short. They are by far my favorite running shorts.

Why??? Duct tape isn't going anywhere near my things.
