Subject: Jorge's Winter Cycling Plan Question - FTP or Critical Power? Hi again.
After browsing through this great site, I've come across a number of threads recommending using Jorge's Winter Cycling Plan to help increase FTP. What I'm confused about is the reference to critical power as this is the first time I've ever heard of it. Looking at the winter cycling program for example:
MS:
5x1' (1' Rest@ 65-70% FT ) as 1-4 set @ 150-120%
Does this mean 150 - 120% of FTP or 150% - 120% of critical power?
My current FTP is 252W so we're talking 302W - 378W? That can't be right as my MMP maximum minute power is 349W
As you can see I'm one super confused newbie
