Deer Creek Pineman - 1/2 Ironman

I'll be in the area, but only doing the sprint distance.  I don't want to try something that long.  I could finish it, but not much more than that.

I stepped up from the sprint distance to the mini today at Deer Creek. The wind made everything feel like it took about a third more effort than usual. I felt like Wonder Woman just making it out of the lake and was pretty sure that I wouldn't have to hydrate much due to the amount of water I swallowed. Biking is my thing, and even that leg of the race took huge effort. I'm interested in knowing how everyone else fared today. I couldn't believe the number of people still coming off the bike leg as I was finishing at 3:40. There were alot of them and they looked absolutely beat. So kudos to anyone who went out there and made it to the end. Pat from COTT
