started off going way too hard - relax more at the swim start.

need to find a way to speed things up. not wearing socks would help a lot, but gross.

this was a very hilly run. Downhill the first mile and all uphill on the way back.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. Running is my strongest event. I had an 11 mile run the day prior, so not bad for tired legs and I was nursing a cold.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Poor swimmer, not enough rest prior to race but that was expected.

Event comments:

This is a fun local race perfect for a first race. It's a short course with a pool swim. My only complaint is that the wait to get into the pool is very long.
