Welp,

Out at the crack of it. 5:30 am departure for some good old fashioned hill repeats. Not the biggest of hills, it's about a mile long with different stages of intensity. It was enough for me today though.

20 miles on the bike, maybe a swim at lunch.

Had plans for a swim tomorrow in Manchester, NH but I think they are waylayed (sp) by an earlier than expected ride into Maine. Oh well, making the best of it all!

4 mile run this afternoon. 3 miles easy with a fast finish. Did an out and back route with some hills in the mix. The out was into the wind which I missed on the way back. It got really hot with no breeze to cool off for the last 2 miles. It was around 88 degrees at run time.

Summer here at last in Idaho. It was well into the 70's by noon and close to 90 out now. Sadly, it was a bike day for me and bike right now means trainer. One hour with 3 X 6 minute intervals at 85-90%. (It's the very end of a beginner program and is starting to not be very challenging. Need to look into getting TrainerRoad, Sufferfest, or the like soon.)

Plus an hour of very painful PT. Was sore ALL DAY. Only two more sessions and then I think I will be left to my own devices. Nearly full ROM passively (if PT pushes and I scream), close to it when I do passive to myself, not really close active--I'd guess maybe 65 to 70% of normal, less in the morning or when I'm cold. Sure hope this improves with time and once the metalwork comes out. Will just try to keep up with stretches, yard work (my excuse for strength training--we have a push mower) and swimming.

It don’t think I saw 90 degrees to day. I was in Montana and Wyoming most of the day and we were at 61 dregs at noon. It was surly up a few degrees in the afternoon but nothing over about 70 deg F. Today I did a lot of hiking but no swimming, cycling, or running. We saw elk, a deer, a moose and a bunch of other thing that I don’t see at home.
