 1509   Cypress, Texas |  Subject: 7.9.20 Thursday StuffGood afternoon! 5:45am: 6 mile Z2 run with 8x30" surges followed by 1 min recovery thrown in at random times. Later today: I am heading to the pool. Chris, did you get a short run in yesterday after draining the tank on your staircase intervals? I got an unplanned run. We got the awards and tee shirts for the virtual run that two of my kids and I did 6 weeks ago yesterday. After opening up all the goodies my 6-year-old asked if we could go running. So, we suited up and headed out. Have a great day all!

Busted. No follow-on run. I think I was too busy eating from 4:30pm to 10pm or so. LOL I did do a long run today and even with a 6:30am start, the humidity made me look like I'd gone swimming in running gear. Nothing more today.. Nice story about the kids getting fired up about some podium hardware and wanting to get in a training run. When my kids were young I had similar experiences. My profile pic is them in 2005 or so standing on the beach before one of the tris they did. |
