My last race was June of 2012. I was training for the Patriots Half iron in Sept of 2013. In April I was walking the dogs when one of them pulled me over and broke my hip. After surgery the doctor told me that walking would be difficult and running D@MN near impossible. I would go tot he gym ride the bike, hit the pool, but it was half hearted. I did not have a goal to shoot for, no races to prepare for. Covid hit and the gym closed. Walking the (different smaller dog) dog was the only exercise and the weight went up and so did the A1C. Gym reopened and I am there 4-6 days a week. Swim M,W, Fr. Bike and weight room Tu, thur, Sat. Rest on Sunday. I would like to do the Patriots Sprint this Sept, even if it means walking the "Run" .
