Run
Comments: pretty good race for me. It never hurt, but I was able to push a biit at times and feel how nice it feels to actually RUN. no knee pain, but definite tightness in both hips. I enjoyed the uphills, hated the downhills. managaed a speedy kick with 75 meters to go What would you do differently?: not bet the boys- they both beat me, now I owe them 30 bucks each :( Post race
Warm down: walked/stretched with boys, ate race food, came home What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of training, lack of experience, still tentative about knee/hip, BUT. I just realized it is a PR for this chapter of my life! (post college) Event comments: hmm. maybe I WILL one day like running. this just goes to show that you can train at a slow pace and still race well, that proper rest and slow building of mileage DO pay off.
