Comments:

Walked several sections, especially the hills in sun.
What would you do differently?:

More water--there weren't enough aid stations. Nextime wear a fuel belt or something so that I can carry my own water. Also, try to focus on maintaining a steady run (no walking)!

Warm down:

Walked around a lot. Took in fluid and solid fuel. Had a pasta lunch a while later which I think really helped my recovery.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Heat, and didn't really have a focused training plan. (My first tri, and my training buddy and I kinda flaked the last month and a half!)

Event comments:

Great race--this was my first time, but it has a cult following. Well organized, runs smoothly, a killer course, but a ton of fun.
