Hello everybody

I´ve been lurking for a while. This is a great site!! lots of good info. I have been a runner for 7 years
and i have done 4 marathons 2 in Berlin and 2 in Hamburg. My PR is 4 hours on the marathon so i´m not the
fastest runner ;-) I have been thinking about doing a tri for a coupple of years and now i am
going for it - well as soon as im over my current knee injury. I have begun to do some swimming
but it is deffinently my week spot , im learning tho. Im pretty comfertable om the bike and have done
some mountainbikeing in the past. I haven´t decided on the distance of the tri i want to do , anyway
my concern for now is this knee injury and learning swim tecnic. Thank you

Welcome

How do you do mountain biking in Denmark? I’ve been to the biggest mountain there and its not likely to give anyone vertigo!!

Just kidding – HI and welcome – where in Denmark are you from?

Welcome to BT!  I switched to tri's also from running.  too many knee problems.  And hang in there with the swim.....it can only get better.  Take some lessons if you are able - they really help.

good luck!

I just figured he would head south to the Bavarian Alps - some good hills there.

Welcome aboard - is Camilla Martin still playing badminton? I didn't see her in the Olympics this year.

I know what you mean by swimming being the weak spot. I dread it, and of course I don't do enough of it. At least you are in a country where bicycling is shown some actual respect on the road.

Good luck.
