Swim
Comments: I was lucky to be number 160, they had a 2:00 break to let traffic clear in the pool. I got to start with noone infront of me and had clean water to swim in. I was a good bit faster than last year when I swam a 6:15 Transition 1
Comments: I chose to put on a jacket and socks in T1 because of the cold and rain. That took a long time and kiled my T1 time, but I was glad to have the jacket on the bike ride Bike
Comments: I had a really crappy ride. My arm was killing me ( I have been doing PT on it for about six weeks) and the rain and cold were a real problem. I also have simply not put in enough miles on the bike this year and it showed. I lost 5:00 to my last years time. What would you do differently?: Genot able to feel much in either my feet or hands at this pointt a better arm, ride more in Jan-March Transition 2
Comments: Not too bad, considering. I was not able to feel much in either my hands or feet at this point Run
Comments: I couldn't feel my freaking feet for the first mile or so, that was a really weird feeling. There was a lot of standing water on the course. The last hill up to the finish line was really tough. Post race
Event comments: The weather was a huge factor for me, as was my continuing problem with my arm. Last updated: 2007-04-16 12:00 AM
