Pre-race routine:

quick b-fast, travel nearly 2 hrs to race site. met up with other track club members

Event warmup:

short warm up jog with isis, raw day so had to keep moving to stay warm

Comments:

First mile was 8 min. Got into a groove pretty fast. Kept an eye on splits. Kept each under 8 min. Worked the hills. At 5k, felt pretty well spent due to hills so had to grin and bear it to the finish.

Event comments:

Great race organization. Lots of events for kids and adults. Festive atmosphere. Music along the route.
