Subject: Rattlesnake Point Climb Questions Ok, Anyone done the Rattlesnake point climb in Milton? I'm planning on going out there and trying it tomorrow morning. Just do repeats of the various hills. I was thinking of parking at the Rattlesnake conservation area and then picking one of three climbs, one after another. Decending and then climbing the three main hills. Frist descending the Appleby line on the side overlooking the 401, and then climbing back up. Second somehow trying to descend the crazy climb on the other side of the escarpment with all the switch backs, right by Rattlesnake converation park. Then climb back up. Then repeating the process. Followed probably by puking my guts out. QUESTION IS! Anyone decended these climbs before or am I crazy for attempting to. Any pointers, or suggestion so I can do hill repeats without killing myself! I'm thinking this is great pre-training for Lake Placid and the climbs I've heard about there. |
