Pre-race routine:

Ate a good breakfast in the early morning. Woke the kids up after my wife and I got stuff packed for the race. This was also my wife's first race. Arrived at the race sight at 6 am and set up transition and got body marked.

We ran for 10 minutes and did some pick ups and rode for 10 mins with some pick ups.

Water over the head, ate a burrito, drank a recovery endurox shake. Walked around.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Beers the night before. Not enough training after the Ironman.
