Comments: I've never done anything so challenging. I ate one bug, got 2 scratches, tripped over infinite tree roots, nearly fell down 2 hills, and had a great time. What would you do differently?: Trained more. Post race
Warm down: Walked back to my car. Drove home & went drinking. :) All is good. What limited your ability to perform faster: Just need to train more - this was a challenging race, and I was probably prepared enough but could have done better. Last updated: 2007-06-04 12:00 AM

Woke up before the alarm. Had a couple MOJO bars, grabbed a diet Pepsi for the drive downtown. Got my race #, put my shirt in the car, went back and hung out at the site. Got some water & sunscreen.
Wiggling waiting for my wave to start (started wave #3).
