Total Time = 1h 11m 51s
Overall Rank = 845/1030
Age Group = women
Age Group Rank = 286/410
Pre-race routine:

Woke up before the alarm. Had a couple MOJO bars, grabbed a diet Pepsi for the drive downtown. Got my race #, put my shirt in the car, went back and hung out at the site. Got some water & sunscreen.
Event warmup:

Wiggling waiting for my wave to start (started wave #3).
Run
  • 1h 11m 51s
  • 6.21 miles
  • 11m 34s  min/mile
Comments:

I've never done anything so challenging. I ate one bug, got 2 scratches, tripped over infinite tree roots, nearly fell down 2 hills, and had a great time.
What would you do differently?:

Trained more.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked back to my car. Drove home & went drinking. :) All is good.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Just need to train more - this was a challenging race, and I was probably prepared enough but could have done better.
