Comments:

Started cramping around 9 to 10 miles in. Calves, left shin, and the knee muscle(a little bit, i don't know it's name). I thought food was good, 8 gels spaced out about every 20 minutes. High humidity in the 'canyon' made it hard to cool effectively, but better than my training run there a month ago.
What would you do differently?:

Start drinking a little earlier. Didn't start drinking until about 3 miles into the race.

D - Really sorry to hear about the heat and cramping. Not sure how much more you could have done for it given the early start on your cramps. Hope the shin & calf are feeling better and way to stick it out - better than a half Mary under your belt. That's always gotta go down as a good day in an athlete's book - great job! Tink OOO

DOH! I can't believe you just busted out 18 miles!! And with cramps all over, no less. Way to tough it out and do BETTER than your training run!
