What happened to Scott Rigsby at IMCdA?

I'm not sure, they said something near the 16:50 mark about him not making it on the run. I am pretty sure he started the run and didn't finish. Either way, he is an amazing guy who deserves the term Ironman as much as any finisher. I know he'll come back strong at another IM and finish it like a rockstar.

There's a few other threads about it ... apparently, his chain broke at mi 64 of the bike and he crashed pretty hard, injuring his shoulder and just getting banged up.  He made it into T2 with six hours to go on the marathon ... and apparently was in a lot of pain from his injuries on the run (I think got to mile 5 at least?) and was advised (and did) forfeit rather than risk not being able to do another Ironman this season.

I am pretty sure he finished one loop of the run.  I saw him loading into an ambulance around what I guess to be mile 15 (for him) on the run.  That was close to 14:15 into the race.  Sad
