Aya,
You should see pictures, she's mini-me all over. We went white water rafting last summer and were on opposite sides of the boat with her in front and me in back--yup identical facial expressions. Cracked up even people who didn't know her!

Family commitments kept me from my big 48 miler, but I got 30 minutes in Saturday to finish. I can barely get on the computer anymore.

TriAya,

I know I speak for the whole team when I say I really appreciate the role you played as team leader.  Your motivational efforts were second-to-none, your ride quota was never in doubt, you dished smacktalk with the best, and you selflessly stayed on top of the administrative portions of the challenge that I'm sure were relatively tedius... although with the Barlo-love we all managed to cultivate, I think you managed to enjoy checking our logs and celebrating our stage accomplishments with us.

You really were a rock star and a great team leader... and I for one, thank you!  Methinks we set the tone for the challenge... with the smack talking, the spoilers, the reporting of other mentionables in the weekly results, etc.  You really did a great job.

Regards,
Josh

Tri Aya,
ditto what Josh 1.0 said!

to all my fine Barlo-buddies--this has been awesome. If all the challenge teams are this insane and fun I'll be doing more of them. Looking forward to keeping up with all you guys through the threads

TRiAya,
ditto Josh 1.0's thoughts!

To all my fine Barlo-buddies,

You guys are the best and I hope to see more of us all doing challenges keeping up through the threads in the future.

For the other folks who have ribbed us newbies to pieces--hey we deserved some of that for our silliness early on...it was fun

An honor and a pleasure beyond words. Your constant efforts and forging ahead to do things you'd only dreamed of before inspired me, soothed my bike fears, cheered me, and changed my entire perspective about cycling as I was able to do the same. I love you guys. I looooooove you guys! As individuals we had incredible moments; to share them as a team made them mythical. We are, undoubtedly, second to none. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Hey all, sorry I missed the last few days of the challenge. I was being scorched by the sun (literally - I'm very red) in Virginia Beach. Congrats to everyone - did we all finish our intended stages? And when do we find out who won the challenge? Or are we just all winners?
