Problem updating Goals page

I can't change my Goals section.  I can go into Control Panel and click on Goals tab and go into the section and make all of the changes I'd like.  However, when I click the apply button and go back to my log, the revised goals don't appear.  After many attempts, I was able to delete the Long-term Goals, but I have the same problem if I try to reenter them.  I've been working trying different things on this problem all day and can't get it resolved.  Anyone have any ideas?
