Go here

http://www.usaultratri.com/athletes.html

and check out the bios and photos of all of the athletes doing the two races.  In addition to our azz kicking Gina you can see how hunky Tom looks in his wetsuit and Tony - that's style m'man!

I love Gina's bio compared to the other Triple Iron women.  Hers basically says "I may not have done as much but what I did I kicked MAJOR A$$ at!"

Still looking strong into her 7th lap (30-35 miles) with a riding time just under 1:50.

5 mile laps for 336 miles??? That's some serious mental beatdown right there.

GO GINA GO!

How is Tom doing? I hope he's still rocking it too!

I believe the boys start tomorrow morning.  The triple started today at 7am and the double tomorrow at 7am, with both having a cutoff of 7pm Sunday night.

Just finished lap 22, which is roughly a single IM bike leg.  Should be a bit over 6 hours riding time now.  Brett says she still looks good.

I was told she won't get any of the emails until later tonight.  So I'm guessing when she does get them, there will be something like 1000+ from BT...

I wish they would update their website.  They are doing as good a job as IMKY did.  I know they have alot going on but at 11:20 they said they would update the site when a few more swimmers left the water.  I know they are swimming over 7 miles but I am sure they are done by now.

What is the link to get to the website to see updates? I cant seem to find it.

It's here: http://www.usaultratri.com/

There's not much in the way of updates, though.

Latest update:  Gina is on lap 33 (around half way through the bike), Brett says she is COOKIN'.  Right now she has a 17.8 average, which includes time off the bike.  This is on pace to shatter the course record.  She is the leader among the females, about 20 miles ahead of 2nd place.  However, 2nd place is known for a strong run, so hopefully she can keep increasing that distance between her nearest competitor.

Needless to say, I am one proud boyfriend.

Glad to her she is doing well.  Did she have any idea as to when she thought she would be off the bike ideally?

I just check the the website and they actually have some results.  They have swim time and some bike but only show 17 laps for Gina so they are behind some.

I said it before she is nuts.  I don't think I could even sleep that long let alone sit on a bike.

If she can maintain a 16mph average for the rest of the course, not only will she crush the female record, but she'll flirt with the male record of 19:42!!!
