Subject: My daughter's bike was stolen!

Last night (10-7-07), my wife's car was broken into, the only thing stolen was my 9 year old daughter's Trek KDR 1000 road bike. She has a race in less than 2 weeks (Sugar Kids Triathlon on 10-20-07) and is in need of a bike now. If anyone has one she can borrow or buy for the race it would be appreciated!

Thanks Joe

 The bike is/was a 40cm Trek KDR 1000.

Here is a pic of it when it was my son's:

Joe I am SO SORRY!  Let me go ahead and email Bathrobe Bill (remember him?) and see if his sons have anything the right size.  He lives just north of I-10 and Gessner.

There's a special place in ell for those who steal bikes, there's an even more special place for those who steal kids bikes.

Sorry to hear that. You should be able to claim the loss on your home owner's insurance. Hopefully that would get you enough money to get a new bike. Good luck.

I went to the police property recovery room today and picked up all our stuff. Everything was in great condition.

The bike did not have a scratch on it! it looks just as good as it did before!!

Catherine will pick a name out of a hat on Friday, I will take pics of the process and post them along with the wining name friday evening.

Thanks again for everything.

We love BT!!!!!
