My name is Luke. I have a beautiful wife and 4 children that I love more than I can describe.

I was college sprinter (110m,200m, lj).

I coach our local high schools track team for the past 8 years.

I own a commerical printing company.

I have alway been intrigued by the triathlon, but never had the guts to take it on. My sister-in-law did the Chicago Tri this past year (even though it becamse a duathlon due to no swimming because of bacteria in the water). She motivated me to enter the Chicago Super Sprint one in 2008. I'm going to try and do some sprint races in MI as well.

This site is an incredible wealth of knowledge and motivation. I look forward to bugging you all with a ton of questions.

Welcome.. before too long, you will be thinking "can I do an Ironman?" .. and it's only natural. We all go through it. Most of all, have fun.

Hey, Luke, welcome to the site. There are a bunch of us scattered throughout the state; take a look in the Michigan forum for good information, group workouts, etc.

And of course, any help we can give we'd be more than glad to. Welcome to BT!!
