Subject: Update on threads

For some reason I don't get updated when a thread I am in (or my own) is updated. It worked up until about a week ago. Now I have to go search to see my teams thread. HELP!!

 

P.s.  If I don't respond it is probably because I am trying to find this again since I won't get told when a post is posted.

The site-wide default for this changed.

To get email notifications by default, go to your Control Panel and set Receive e-mail notifications by default? to Yes.

Using your link I believe I fixed it, but if I go to my control panel through my training log I get

Privacy Settings

Training log is private?
Nutrition log is private?
...

Allow guests of the site to view any logs you have made public?
Only allow your "friends list" to view logs you have made public? (Overrides the above option)

 

I don't see edit profile and none of the tabs have it.  Sorry for the trouble.

There are 2 "Control Panels".

The one in the link I posted controls settings for the forums and site-wide stuff. It's the original control panel for the BBS system that the site is based on. It's accessed by the link in the upper left hand corner of any page, under the BT logo.

The settings you're seeing are for the training logs and all the custom programming that have been done on top of the BBS system.

It seems crazy now, but when BT was first created it was just wasn't imagined that the site would turn into what it has. We're hoping to get the two groups of settings integrated sometime in 2008.
